Overview

Byteguide is a visual programming puzzle game. Based on the application source reviewed for this policy, the app does not require an account and does not collect or transmit personal information, gameplay data, or analytics to Rekart webtech.

Data Stored on Your Device

Byteguide stores the following information locally in the app’s private storage so that its features work between sessions:

• Unlocked and completed levels
• Best command counts and star ratings
• Unfinished command programs, including the associated level
• Reduced-motion and haptics preferences

This information is used only to save progress, restore unfinished programs, display results, and apply your settings. The inspected application does not send this information to Rekart webtech or an application server.

Android may include locally stored app data in device or cloud backups when backup is enabled for the app and for your device. Any such backup is controlled by Android and your device or backup-provider settings.

Permissions and Device Features

Byteguide can use device vibration to provide optional haptic feedback. Haptics can be disabled in the app’s settings.

The Android application declares internet access. The inspected gameplay code does not use that access to transmit gameplay or personal information. A separate application component contains an HTTPS WebView intended to display terms and privacy content, although the normal launcher opens the game directly.

The application manifest also declares permission to access the Android advertising identifier. However, the inspected source contains no advertising SDK, analytics SDK, advertising functionality, or code that reads or transmits that identifier. Byteguide does not display ads based on the inspected application.

Data Collection, Use, and Sharing

Based on the inspected source, Rekart webtech does not collect personal data through Byteguide. The app does not include account registration, login, analytics, advertising, location access, camera access, microphone access, or user-content uploads.

Rekart webtech does not sell or share personal data collected through the app because the inspected app does not collect such data.

Third-Party Software

Byteguide is built with Godot Engine 4.7.2 and Android application components including AndroidX, Jetpack Compose, Kotlin, and related runtime libraries. These components support rendering, interface behavior, lifecycle management, and application operation on the device. No third-party advertising or analytics SDK was identified, and the inspected source does not show these components transmitting user data for Rekart webtech.

Security

Gameplay and preference data is stored within the app’s local storage using Android’s application sandbox. No method of storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Because the inspected gameplay implementation does not transmit this data to Rekart webtech, encryption in transit is not applicable to that local processing. HTTPS is configured for the separate terms-content WebView.

Retention and Deletion

Local data remains on the device until it is replaced, cleared through available app controls, removed through Android settings, or deleted when the app is uninstalled, subject to any Android backup and restoration settings.

The in-app “Reset Progress” control erases completed-level records, best results, stars, and unlocked progress. It does not expressly erase every locally stored preference or unfinished-program file. To remove all locally stored Byteguide data, use Android’s clear-storage function or uninstall the app. Backup copies controlled by Android or a backup provider may be retained according to the user’s backup settings and the provider’s practices.

Because Rekart webtech does not receive the locally stored gameplay data, Rekart webtech ordinarily cannot access or delete it remotely. Privacy questions or deletion requests concerning information you believe Rekart webtech holds may be sent to info@rekart.online.

Children’s Privacy

No specific target age group was supplied. Byteguide does not knowingly request or collect personal information from children through the inspected application. If a parent or guardian believes that a child has provided personal information to Rekart webtech in connection with Byteguide, they may contact Rekart webtech at info@rekart.online.

Changes to This Policy

Rekart webtech may update this Privacy Policy if Byteguide’s features or data practices change. An updated policy should include a revised effective date. Users should review the current policy periodically.
